Fall 2020 Yoga Class

No Classes the week of September 28-October 2

Location: 9763 Coletown-Lightsville Road, Ansonia, Ohio
COST: All classes are drop-in at cost of $8.00/class
Weekly Yoga Class Schedule:
TUESDAY (NO CLASSES September 29)
8:30-9:30 a.m. CHALLENGE TO CHANGE! This class definitely offers a challenge. We will focus on holding poses longer and stronger in the style of Inyengar. We will work through flows that will get your heart rate up. You might sweat! You will get stronger!
9:45-10:45 a.m. Chair Yoga/Exercise
WEDNESDAY (NO CLASS September 30)
5:30-6:30 p.m. Yoga – Hatha style
THURSDAY (NO CLASS October 1)
8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Yoga – Hatha style

I will begin offering yoga classes back inside the week of October 5. We will still hold classes outside, weather permitting. (Still good idea to check website to see if class will be inside or outside.)
I am limiting class size and requiring pre-registration before each class.
To assure a space in a class you want to attend I’m asking that you text or call me to reserve your spot. I will respond so you know if you were successful in reserving your spot.
– Tuesday 8:30 / Thursday 8:30 classes: Class size limited to 7. You may text or call any time the previous day to reserve a spot. I will respond with confirmation.
– Wednesday 5:30 class: Class size limited to 7. You may text or call any time that same day to reserve a spot. I will respond with confirmation.
– Tuesday Chair 10:00 chair yoga class: Class size limited to 7. You may text or call any time the previous day to reserve a spot. I will respond with confirmation.
I’m asking that everyone have a pre-paid card. When you reserve your spot in a class I will mark that class date on your card. If you reserve a spot but do not attend, you will still be charged for reserved place in that class.
Mask requirement: Beginning October 6 everyone will be required to wear a mask inside until you are set up in your space on your mat or chair. You are welcome to remove your mask once settled on your mat. Ask that you wear mask again before leaving your space after class.
I will have 7 spaces marked for placement of mats and will have chairs set up for chair yoga. Doing my best to follow guidelines set by Yoga Alliance for safe indoor yoga classes.
I ask that you self-assess before coming to class. Your attendance to a class confirms that you do not have any of the following symptoms: cough, difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, loss of taste/smell, nausea, diarrhea. If you have any of these symptoms, have been exposed to anyone with any of these symptoms or anyone with Positive COVID-19 diagnosis or have recently traveled by plane or other form of public transportation, please stay home for sufficient amount of time for symptoms to pass, or to be sure that you do not develop symptoms as a result of recent exposure.
I will have hand sanitizer available.
I will sanitize high use areas (door handles, stair rail, bathroom) as well as our yoga space, after each class.
I will still be offering yoga blocks as props, but will not be offering straps, blankets/towels, bolsters or eye pillows.
