In 2005 I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I ached. I was tired. Medications didn’t work, but yoga did.

I’ve been doing yoga since 2007 and am now living relatively pain-free. In August, 2010 I completed my Yoga instructor certification and am excited to introduce others to yoga. In November, 2012 I completed enough teaching hours (1000 within 2 year period) to receive my ERYT-200 (Experienced) certification.  Continuing my yoga education; in December 2013 I received my 500-RYT certification.

Yoga isn’t chanting or meditating. It’s a way to take time for yourself. You don’t need to be able to touch your toes or do a pushup. If you can breathe, you can do yoga.
